“Creating a Culture of Recognition & Appreciation   The most successful organizations embed gratitude, appreciation, and recognition into their culture and strategy rather than viewing it as a stand-alone initiative. Learn about BASF’s journey from shifting the focus of recognition from a “program” to embedding appreciation into their culture. We will discuss how Grateful Leadership aligns with culture and business initiatives as we strive to create an environment where every employee is seen, heard, and valued for not only what they do, but who they are.

Samantha (Sam) Elliot focuses on running the day-to-day operations of BASF’s employee recognition platform, as well as strategic initiatives to help BASF create a culture of recognition and appreciation. She has held various roles in Human Resources throughout her 10-year career and has been with BASF for 3 ½ years. She is also the founder of the “Be The Bright Spot” blog where she encourages everyone to be a bright spot to someone in their life daily.
